A Big Thank You!!!

I love to be surprised. It may sound strange, but yes, it is that way. This urge of mine to get surprised was fulfilled a few days ago by my lovely blogger friend Ruchita from My Not So Ordinary Life. She nominated me for the versatile blogger award!!! It feels simply great to be recognized by a fellow blogger worth nominating for an award. It is so nice of you Ruchita :-)

I discovered Ruchita’s blog recently. She is an amazing writer and a photographer too. Her musings keep one hooked to it. Her recipes section is a blend of some mouthwatering easy to make stuff and some authentic delicious dishes. It is a place worth visiting.

This award is making me a kind of nostalgic. I started this blog basically to share my travel experiences with friends. But slowly it became my corner of expression. It expanded to become my place of sharing opinions about social issues, music and some weird thoughts too. I was fortunate enough to discover some amazing blogs and bloggers in the beginning. Their honest feedback and encouraging comments have kept me going. I’m also thankful to my readers for their support.

Seven Random facts about me:
1. I am a hard core music lover. Rather I am obsessed with music. I can go without food for a day but not without music.

2. I am an extremely cool headed person and perform well in difficult stressful situations.

3. I love shopping for anything handmade like handlooms and handicrafts. I’m a choosy shopper. So shopping with me means a good investment of time and energy.

4. I enjoy gardening too. I have a soft corner for roses.

5. My biggest problem I think is I cannot do anything unless I am fully convinced. I cannot follow anyone blindly. But when I do, it is a lifelong commitment.

6. I treat my friends as a precious treasure. I consider myself fortunate that I got a chance to interact with some extremely good people at different moments of my life.

7. Most important fact – I don’t like to be disturbed when I am sleeping :-)
